5th graders, I'm so psyched that you are reading Refugee and taking part in the Global Read Aloud. It is an amazing, powerful book!
Today we're going to continue our exploration of the Digital Maine Library in order to learn more about the different settings of Refugee: Germany, Cuba and Syria.
Please perform a keyword search of your country (I'll let you know which it is) in 3 of the resources available to you in the elementary section of the Digital Maine Library.
Then, post a comment here answering these questions:
- Which resource was most useful for learning new information about your country?
- Why was it more useful than the others?
- What did you learn about your country that you did not know before?
