5th graders, you are about to embark upon a historical fiction quest! Before we begin, let's think about the differences between historical fiction and nonfiction (that is about something historical). How are they different? How are they the same?
we know it is nonfiction because it is his real life and if it is historical fiction you will know because there is dieloge a convesastions. if it is nonficion it will be no talking and all about what his life was
The difference between Historical fiction and nonfiction is that nonfiction has quotes and Historical fiction doesn't. Also nonfiction doesn't have talking in it.
I think the difference between the two genres us historical happened a long time ago but nonfiction could have happened yesterday. They are the same because they are both about something real that actually happened.
Historical fiction and nonfiction are different because historical fiction is about a real time period but some of the other things are made up like the characters. But nonfiction is all true everything.
Historical fiction is something that happened along time ago maybe like 20 years ago. Nonfiction is something that is true and real but did not happen along time ago.
