Great Joy

One of my favorite holiday books is Great Joy written by Kate Dicamillo and illustrated by Bagram Ibatoulline. 

In this beautiful book, there are three very different characters: Frances, the mother and the organ grinder.  Please use the words and illustrations of the book to help you describe them.  Who is your favorite character in the story?

      Francis is really really really nice to the Francis is really really really nice to the Organ grinder .The mom is mean to France because France talks to theor France talks to the organ Grindwe. And organ grinder . My favorite character is the organ grinder because he is happy but sad at the same time because he lives on the street.

    I think that the mother is mean because I think that the mother and daughter lost their dad in World War II 😓😡 I think that the organ grinder is a sad man with no home with no home 😩 Francis is a nice little girl to the organ grinder and she asked him if he wants to go to the pageant 😀❤️⭐️🌅👩🏼😍😀

    I like the organ grinder and I like the pictures. I like him because he came to the play. Francis talked to him so she is friends with him kind of. The mother talked to him at the end of the story.

    My favorit character in the book is Francess. The mom is a little mean. The Finder is happy. Francess Is happy to.

    My favorite character is Francine. I describe grinder as sad. I describe the mother as sad and mad. I describe Francine as happy, nice and kind and generous.

    The mommy is mean becuse she doesn't do anything.frasis is a good person. The grinder is kind and respect.my favorite is the grinder.
